For my debut personal essay, via the New York Times, I share true life memories on love and loss, and why I'm undeterred by societal expectations on such things.
Thankful to be the youngest shortlisted for the Morland scholarship, which awards a monetary grant of £18,000 to 4 emerging African writers to enable them work on a proposed book. The twenty-three 2021 finalists were selected from over 572 submissions.
Scheduled a great while ago, my first published short story is up in issue 130 of Transition Magazine, many thanks to its editors and the Hutchins Center at Harvard University, Iink in bio.
